Midwestern Porcine Meat and Bonemeal Under Pressure

Trade values for Wednesday were steady for most items. Limited trade was reported due to the continued ebb and flow of the CBOT grain markets, especially soybean meal. Usage levels for animal feed have been indicated as lower than previous sessions due to summer heat.

The only movement on Wednesday was porcine meat and bonemeal FOB Mo. River and Eastern IA/IL, which was lower on the top end due to buyer pushback. A low of $445/st was reported in both Mo. River and Eastern IA/IL. Porcine meat and bonemeal for Indiana and Carolinas was steady for the day.
