DCO, Animal Fats and UCO Prices Continue to Trend Higher

In terms of verified volume, the market was fairly quiet today. Distiller’s corn oil (DCO) traded steady late yesterday and indications were sideways today. Bids remain around the 68 cts/lb level with offers around 70 cts/lb.
There were indications that there may be some extra UCO in the market looking for a buyer, but there was trading done at steady prices today as well for August shipment. Sources have indicated that material earmarked for export is now looking for placement in the US, but confirmation was elusive today, both from the buy and sell side. Again, trading was indicated at steady prices as well.
