U.S. New Crop Soybean Export Sales Climb WOW

Participants in the market reported one active trade on wheat midds today. Sources mentioned that prices in Minneapolis are under pressure, resulting in a decline in values. This can be attributed to reduced run times and the challenge of moving feed due to sluggish demand.

CME grain pricing was mixed today. September corn increased by $0.0350, rising to $4.73/bu. September wheat decreased by $0.0825, dropping to $5.89/bu. September soybeans moved up, with an increase of $0.0200 and settling at $13.36/bu. Additionally, September soymeal prices decreased by $4.90, falling to $399.60/st. The variation in values was caused by the recent USDA export sales data and concerns over an anticipated change to hot, dry weather which may reduce the upcoming U.S. harvest.
