The push to adopt the USDA’s Strengthening Organic Enforcement Act (SOE) was a result of organic stakeholders seeing the erosion of product integrity in organic markets.  As organic markets have grown globally and become more lucrative, fraud has become routine.  Some of the multi-million-dollar schemes have been unearthed, but others have not.
