Domestic Soy Oil Exports Drop on Week, Sales Reductions Increase

2022/23 U.S. soybean oil exports totaled 1,600 tonnes (MT) during the week ending September 7, down 38 percent on the week but up 47 percent from the four-week average, the USDA’s latest Weekly Export Report showed on Thursday. The largest buyers over the period were Mexico (1,300 MT) and Canada (300 MT).

Total 2022/23 U.S. net soybean oil sales reductions of 3,900 MT rose sharply on the week but declined from the four-week average. Increases reported for Mexico (200 MT) were more than offset by reductions to Canada (4,100 MT), the USDA reported.
