Soybean Crush Report: Soybean Prices Plummet to 20-Month Low

DDGS remained unchanged today with sources reporting limited trading activity. However, market participants noted that plant outages are likely to persist due to fall maintenance.

CME grain prices witnessed an upward trend across the board on Monday. October soymeal increased by $3.80 and closed at $392.00/st. November soybeans shifted up by $0.015 and settled at $12.97/bu. Additionally, December corn rose by $0.04, reaching $4.81/bu, and December wheat jumped by $0.095 to $5.89/bu. Despite the lack of positive momentum in recent weeks, grain prices received a boost today from a significant flash corn sale and increased geopolitical tension in the Black Sea region.
