Poultry a Key Demand Driver for Organic Feed Grains

Demand for organic corn and soybeans is expected to show sustained growth over the coming decade. Primarily driven by the organic poultry segment, organic feed grains are increasingly used for other species to distinguish products in the marketplace.  Fastmarkets estimates a minimum five percent annual growth rate in organic feed grain usage, but current economic indicators are favorable to organic demand growth, so this number could exceed seven percent over the next five years.
