DCO Prices Move Lower for November Shipment

A negative tone continued to persist in the market today and there was trading at lower prices, although the volume traded was lower compared to this time last week. There was trading done at lower prices on choice white grease out of the Carolinas, but the Midwestern markets were steady. There were reports of trades as low as 59 and as high as 63, but the bulk remained within the printed range.
Yellow grease was lower out of the New York market on pressure from lower UCO trading into the Northeast today. The Carolinas market moved lower on pressure from ample feed ingredient supply in that market. Sources reported that there is a lot of spot corn supply in the market, which has cut back on some nearby fat demand. Interior biodiesel and renewable diesel demand is off as well on lower RIN prices over the last week and a half.
