Values on the animal proteins market have remained mostly rangebound for the start of the week. Values were higher on porcine bloodmeal, Mo. River; however, the bulk of trade continued to linger within the previously set range. There was communication of pressure due to previously lower values heard on both porcine and ruminant meat and bonemeal, though values were reported flat for Tuesday.

Poultry by-product pet grade was steady to lower with the high end dropping on Mo. River. Chicken meal was indicated as soft with a $900-975/st spread. Feathermeal was called highly unsettled with some wider ranges expected. Export volume has been diminished according to contacts, which has created the wider ranges and unsettled tones. A low of $500/st was reported but could not be confirmed as the bulk of trades as of press time. Feathermeal export is discussed below as well.
