WASDE Cuts, WTI Gains Lift Soybean Oil Prices

In its November World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) released at noon on Thursday, the USDA reduced projections for 2023/24 beginning and ending U.S. soybean oil stocks. U.S. soybean oil inventories are expected to start the 2023/24 marketing year at 1.602 million pounds, down 159 million pounds from the prior month’s outlook. Estimates for 2023/24 ending soybean oil stocks were also reduced by 159 million pounds to 1.577 million pounds.
