October Soybean Crush Hits Record High, Oil Stocks Lowest Since December 2014

The National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) reported a record high monthly soybean crush of 189.774 million bushels during October. This was the largest for any month on record, surpassing the prior all-time high of 186.438 million bushels crushed in December 2021.

The October crush topped the average trade assessment of 187.237 million bushels. Estimates for the crush ranged from 180 million to 193.235 million bushels. The October crush was 15 percent above the September crush of 165.456 million bushels and 2.9 percent above the 184.464 million bushels crushed during October 2022.
