Mixed Results in Latest PPI Report

Inflation declined more than expected in October, but that should not be a surprise to any organic grain market participants. In back-to-back reports released on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, by the U.S. Labor Department, both consumer prices and producer (wholesale) prices declined.  In the food categories, there was a mixed bag. On the wholesale side, feed declined, whereas food at home on the consumer side increased month-over-month.
