Weekly Grain Inspections: Corn, Soybeans, and Wheat Drop on Week

There were a few trades reported on DDGS today. Market participants noted that prices found some support due to strong demand, leading to increases in the price ranges for Iowa, Indiana, and Ohio.

Most CME grain prices witnessed a downward trend on Monday. The only grain that experienced an increase was December soymeal, which rose by $1.30 and closed at $458.70/st. January soybeans shifted down by $0.01 to $13.29/bu. Furthermore, December corn dropped by $0.0775 to $4.55/bu, and December wheat fell by $0.145 to $5.34/bu. Following the holiday week, the grain market experienced some pressure leading to a decline in prices, especially for wheat which suffered double-digit losses. This was due to persistent concerns regarding competition overseas and large global stocks. Additionally, corn and soybean prices also dropped as the USDA provided underwhelming grain export inspections data.
