Mixed Reports on 2023 Organic Corn Crop

End users continue to limit their inventories of organic feed grains in anticipation of price changes.  Merchandisers report increased activity ahead of the holiday weekend as end users scrambled to cover their needs.

Prices have so far remained relatively stable for organic corn but have still declined 13% since mid-September.  This is to be expected from a seasonal trend perspective.  East Coast organic corn is trading around the $400/short ton mark, which equates to over $11/bushel.
