With activity slowing in the final days of 2023, it’s hard to see much price improvement for organic feed-grade proteins. Organic soybean meal and organic soybean prices have remained steady of late. Buyers continue to be patient and sit on their bids while African and Turkish organic soybean meal makes its way into U.S. ports.

We believe that lower volumes of organic soybean meal will be imported into the U.S. during the next 12 months, as volumes have recently declined. For the twelve months ending November 2023, organic soybean meal imports to the U.S. are down about 30 percent.
