In a vote of 26-15, the New Mexico Senate recently passed legislation that would require the state’s transportation sector to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

If signed by Governor Grisham, House Bill 41 (Clean Transportation Fuel Standards) calls for a reduction in the carbon intensity of New Mexico’s transportation fuels by 20 percent by 2030, and by 30 percent by 2040, from a 2018 baseline. 

CARB Postpones Amendment Hearing on LCFS

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) announced on February 14 it will postpone the March 21 public hearing to consider amendments to the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). The hearing will be pushed back to an unspecified later date.
