Corn Oil, Peanut Oil Prices Remain Unchanged

**Please note, The Jacobsen will not publish a bulletin on Monday, February 19 in observance of Presidents’ Day.**

In the cash market, corn oil, cottonseed oil and peanut oil prices were steady again this week. Trading for February/March has largely been completed, with buying interest for the second quarter yet to ramp up.

In the last year, edible oil values have been on a downward trajectory amid diminished demand and abundant supply. On the year, Midwest crude corn oil prices have fallen nearly 10 percent. PBSY Mississippi Valley cottonseed oil (CSO) spot values are down close to 40 percent from the same time period in 2023.
