Additionally, May soymeal rose by $0.50 to $330.40/st. and May corn increased by $0.025, reaching $4.28/bu. A wave of technical buying resulted in a modest increase in corn prices, while soybean prices showed minor losses. However, wheat prices faced double-digit losses due to relatively weak U.S. demand and stiff competition from Ukraine and Russia.
