Export Inspections of Corn and Soybeans Decline

Prices for corn gluten meal and corn gluten feed have remained steady as sources reported within the current price ranges listed on The Jacobsen Price Guide. Market participants noted the market was quiet to start the week, with very little demand out there.

CME grain prices shifted higher on Tuesday. May soymeal increased by $2.00/st and closed at $339.20/st. May soybeans increased by $0.1675 and settled at $11.96/bu. May corn remained unchanged at $4.41/bu, and May wheat increased by $0.0025 to $5.47/bu. Corn prices were steady following some light technical buying, while wheat prices recorded a minor increase. Soybean prices saw double-digit gains after Conab cut its estimate for Brazil’s 2023/24 soybean production.
