Active demand pushes porcine MBM higher in every region

Porcine blood meal was mixed for Tuesday March 26, with Indiana wider ranging. The Mid-Atlantic moved lower to $1,300-1,3050 per short ton (st). Ruminant bloodmeal was flat for the day. Porcine meat and bone meal was firmer for every region on accounts of active demand and limited availability.

A high of $500/st could not be confirmed as of press time for porcine meat and bonemeal, FOB Indiana. Strong export demand continues to tight inventory on the East Coast, supportive of porcine meat and bonemeal.

Feathermeal had tighter ranges for most regions today, while poultry by-products were rangebound. A high of $875/st could not be confirmed in the Southeast region for poultry by-product pet grade.
