Distiller’s corn oil (DCO) traded higher into the Manly, IA market today, topping out at a high of 47.75 cents lb. Trading into the Gulf and on an FOB basis was steady with yesterday’s report.
Choice white grease was steady out of the Mo. River market with trading reported within the previous range. Sources indicated that interior demand remains strong with biodiesel producers showing strong demand for choice white grease heading into the warmer months.
Current delivered crude degummed soybean oil values are around 47-48 cents lb, well over the choice white grease market. Despite lower prices into the Gulf and some negative pressure on the FOB market for those moving material south, interior values have been firm.
