US spring, winter wheat quality ratings slip below weekly levels

Chicago Mercantile Exchange grain prices mostly fell on Tuesday June 11, with the July CME wheat futures contract the only one to increase, rising by 19 cents per bushel to close at $6.26 per bu.

The July soybean futures contract decreased by 10.25 cents per bu, settling at $11.78 per bu, and July soymeal dropped by $8.70 per short ton to $359.30 per ton.

Meanwhile, July corn fell by 2.25 cents per bu to $4.49 per bu.

Wheat prices captured double-digit gains, bouncing back into positive territory after a nine-day losing streak. This was mainly driven by renewed worries of widespread frosts in Russia sparking a wave of technical buying. However, corn and soybeans closed lower due to a round of technical selling.
