Limited trade was reported for Tuesday June 25 on US domestic animal proteins. Most pricing levels remained within the previously set ranges, with the exception of poultry bloodmeal, poultry by-product items and slight range adjustments on feathermeal.

Fastmarkets assessed bloodmeal, poultry, fob US South at $800-850 per short ton, down from Monday June 24’s range of $900-925 per ton. Relative price drops on both ruminant and porcine bloodmeal, as well as softer soybean meal, have most likely pressured poultry bloodmeal prices lower for the week.

Fastmarkets assessed poultry by-product meal, feed grade, 57 Pro, fob US Mid-South at $650-700 per ton, also down from Monday’s range of $700-750 per ton.

Fastmarkets assessed chicken meal, fob US Mid-South at $700-800 per ton, down from Monday’s range of $850-900 per ton.
