No major price movement as demand firms for organic feed ingredients

Organic corn and soybean markets are fragmented and separated by a considerable distance. Issues related to supply and demand are frequently limited to individual trade flows but can apply to broader geography as well.

The Midwest is a key producing region for organic corn and soybeans, but there is relatively little demand there. Iowa organic poultry and some hog production is the exception. Significant demand exists on the East and West Coasts with a concentration of organic poultry producers in Pennsylvania and California.
