Shell will provide 25,000 tonnes (8.25 million gallons) of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Brussels Airport over the next year for use by DHL Express, the companies announced on Thursday November 21.
The SAF use will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide, according to DHL’s press release.
DHL Express plans to use the SAF for its GoGreen initiative.
