Weekly export inspections
Export inspections of US grains showed a decline for corn, soybeans and wheat in the week to November 28, according to data from the US Department of Agriculture released on Monday December 2.

Corn export inspections reached 935,859 tonnes, down by 7.2% from the previous week and by 20.5% year on year.

The top export destinations were Colombia (244,540 tonnes), Mexico (200,201 tonnes), South Korea (134,752 tonnes) and Japan (122,780 tonnes).

Yellow corn made up the majority, with 874,498 tonnes passing inspections, while 61,361 tonnes of white corn passed inspection.

Soybean export inspections totaled 2.088 million tonnes, down by 1.4% from the previous week but up by 78% year on year.

Major destinations included China (952,095 tonnes) and Italy (548,461 tonnes).
