Broiler slaughter in November totaled 727.88 million head, down by 4.45% year on year and by 15.51% from October, according to the USDA’s Poultry Slaughter report released on Monday December 23.

Broiler slaughter totaled 8.68 billion head in the year to November, up by 0.31% year on year and by 1.13% from the corresponding three-year average.

US broiler weights averaged 6.63 lb in November, up by 0.42% year on year.
