US soybean crush reaches new record high at 218 mln bu: USDA

The figure was up by 3.8% month on month from 210 million bu in November and by 6.9% year on year, and it came in at the high end of the 217 million-218 million bu expected by market analysts.

In December, US crude soybean oil produced was 2.57 billion lb, increasing by 3% on the month and by 8% on the year. Refined soybean oil production in December was 1.92 billion lb, up by 5% on the month and by 12% on the year.
