Runner Market Activity

Trading was steady in the runner market this week with previous highs. Reports of the impact African swine fever has had on the Chinese hog population continue to come, but the effect on price both in the pork and runner prices has been minimal and many are suggesting that any impact on the market will come post New Year, but when and to what degree remains very uncertain.
