Trading was very quiet to start the week. Tech tallow was offered out at steady pricing, $0.3250 Chicago and countered lower. Reports of trading to the West Coast for renewable production have been higher than Chicago, but wide ranging in the spread.

Cattle slaughter looks to get back on track with slaughter rates over the 600,000 head per week mark. Slaughter this week is projected at 620,000  head, up  1.37% from last year and a jump of 19.2%…
