A Record Crush Rate Elevates Soybean Meal Supply, Demand Attempts to Stablilze Price

The crush for the 2018/19 crop season has been running at a record pace. The USDA has forecast this season’s crush to be 1.2 percent above last year’s record 1.93 billion bushels.  During the first three months of the season, the crush is exceeding expectations and running 7.7 percent over last year’s crush rate.
