MBM values out of New Zealand and Australia traded higher this past week. Sellers may be seeing some benefit from holiday tightness that is right around the corner. There is optimism in the Australian market that access to Indonesia will be renewed in early 2019. Protein exports out of Australian into Indonesia had increased through 2018 relative to 2017.
