Organic corn sales are quiet as farmers appear to be storing their bounty away waiting for prices to rise during the spring and summer.  The cost of carry is approximately $0.50 per bushel to hold corn into the beginning of the Q3, which generates a forecast price that is less than what farmers are looking for, now that imports have slipped.
