Animal Fats – International

Pricing out of an in the Australian market was sideways for fats this week. There is some downward pressure, however, with strong kills continuing and Singapore absent from the market. Kills were up 5% last week compared to the same week last year. Drought conditions in NSW have accelerated the seasonal wind down with cattle producers pushing more animals out of the dry pastures and into the abattoirs.
