Trading was very quiet to start the week with no changes reported. 

Cattle slaughter took a holiday break last week, down to 582,000 head.  Last week was the first time the cattle slaughter weekly total had fallen below the 600,000 head level since the week prior to Easter. The slaughter numbers look to pick up with the next four weeks forecast at an average of 675,100 head per week, which is 5.82% above last year’s slaughter pace. The tallow…
