Market Activity

Overall the tone of the market was steady, but there were a few changes. Porcine MBM was stronger in the Eastern markets, i.e. Carolinas and Indiana. The slower holiday week and good demand has allowed sellers to push prices higher.

Avian proteins were sideways today. Porcine bloodmeal moved lower out of the Indiana and Carolinas markets. Porcine bloodmeal on a whole has a toppy feel moving into June.
