Trading in the protein market was mostly sideways this afternoon. Offers were out higher on porcine MBM out of the Mo. River market, but buyers were passing on material at steady numbers. Kills continue along at a very strong pace with 461,000 head estimated today. Porcine MBM did move higher out of the IN market, $300 – 330.
