Australian fat prices were flat for exports, but higher on domestic sales. A stronger US$ has pushed the AUS$ value higher, while keeping export values static. Trading out of the NZ market was unchanged. Given the stronger US$ and a lack of demand shown from both China and Singapore, it’s reasonable to expect prices in both the Australian and New Zealand markets to trend lower in the comings week.
