Animal Fats – International

Prices out of the New Zealand market were off this week, trading lower under the pressure of increased slaughter and in turn, tallow production. Prices are off NZ$30 compared to the last traded levels. Demand from Singapore has been reported as steady, but sellers are expecting a sharp drop off in the short term with the Neste Singapore plant undergoing downtime in Q4 of this year.
