Market Activity

Trading was very quiet to close out the week with no action reported. Bean meal values inched higher today, closing out the day at $371 on the May contract. Soybean meal prices are up $40 since early February. Over the last four weeks ruminant MBM prices have traded up $50, porcine MBM $67, feathermeal as much as $90 and pet grade poultry meal as much as $62. Despite the big increase in prices the market still remains very well values versus SBM.
