Market Activity

With the AFIA underway in Ft. Worth the market was fairly quiet this afternoon. Ruminant MBM trading was done as high as $290 out of the Mo. River today. Given the wide spread to porcine MBM and the still-great value to SBM, it’s not surprising that values continue to rise. Last week’s spread of $75 between porcine and ruminant MBM was the largest since the week ending August 15, 2014.
