Market Activity

Pet grade poultry meal traded higher out of the Midwest market late on Friday, $775 – 815. The animal protein market on a whole is firm, again, helped by a strong bean meal market. Soybean meal was flat today, settling up $0.30/ton for the May contract. There was plenty of talk about trade wars today with ample amounts ofspeculation offered on how the most recent rhetoric out of Washington will play in the ag markets.
