Cattle Slaughter Outlook

Cattle slaughter was lower last week, finishing at an estimated 588,000 head. Kills this week are projected up to 623,000 before dropping off to 608,000 head the first full week of February. Cattle slaughter looks to start March at a stronger pace, increasing to numbers north of 620,000 head per week.
