Animal Fats – International

Export prices were flat out of the Australian market this week. Domestic trading was quiet ahead of the November tender period. The AUS dollar has fallen 2.4% over the last two weeks relative to the US dollar, which has pushed tallow values for export up in terms of the AUD and may push interior values higher. Heavy rains in much of the Eastern States have limited cattle slaughter and in turn, have kept supply fairly snug.
