USDA: crush season ends slightly higher than projected

The USDA’s recently released August crush data was in line with NOPA’s numbers.  Per the USDA, 151,619,733 bushels of beans were crushed during the August. This resulted in 1.762 billion pounds of oil and 3.32 million tons of meal.  NOPA’s 12 member companies account for approximately 95% of the US soybean crush. 95% of what the USDA reported is 144,038,747 bushels.
