Market Activity

Trading was fairly quiet to close out the week. There were nine loads of ruminant MBM traded out of the Mo. River at $285 FOB and Dal/Hou action was seen at $290. Sources continue to report that the MBM market is firm with strong demand coming from a variety of sectors. Feather meal values were flat to stronger throughout the week and blood meal saw some action at higher numbers. Proteins, in general, are seeing support from the stronger SBM market.
