Market Activity

The ruminant market was fairly quiet this afternoon with the only action seen being some material at the low end of the range out of the Panhandle market. Porcine MBM trading was done as low as $245 out of the Mo. River and Eastern IA/IL markets. Trading out of the Carolinas was reported in a wider range, $270 – 300.

All flavors of blood meal were quiet today, but sources continue to report sloppiness on the supply side of the market.
