Market Activity

The fat market was fairly quiet today with not a lot of action reported. Sources reported nearby interest for BFT at $0.3300, but were unable to find any sellers at that price. There have been multiple reports that tallow yields are off with lighter cattle coming through the slaughterhouses. The mix of light cattle and strong chemical sales has certainly tightened up the 30 day window.
