The Australian fat market continues to track palm prices lower with export values falling as much as US$22.50/MT compared to last week. Slaughter continues at a slow rate with last week’s estimates coming in 20% lower than last year at 112,529 head. The low numbers should fall even lower over the next two weeks with the Good Friday and Easter Monday holidays.
