Cold Weather Lifts Distillate Demand

Heating oil prices moved lower on Wednesday despite a mixed inventory report which showed that crude oil stocks unexpectedly increased while product stocks declined.  Imports were higher, but this should reverse itself once OPEC cuts production in the new year.  While demand for distillates soared as the weather turned colder, gasoline demand declined.
